So yesterday I put on the gloves and put my finger in Chases cage. Of course he attacked it with a frenzy and then calmed down. I continued doing this throughout the day and at one point we brought him out to see how he would react. He sniffed us and went along his merry way. He stopped attacking the glove :) and we have been able to go through the cage bars for chin and nose rubs :inlove: We can now put our fingers in without being nipped! :yahoo: I am going to continue working with him and of course give lots of praise and a treat when doesnt nip. He is currently housed in the same room as Benny and as soon as Chase comes out he goes straight to Bennys cage to touch noses and mark his territory. So I'm thinking Chase should be moved to another room to distract him?
Also I've noticed that when Chase comes out of his cage he makes a squeaking kind of sound at us. Not sure what this means?

The squeaking/honking is hormones. And of course marking his territory is hormones because they are unaltered, yes housing in different rooms could help that but it may not. Unaltered males housed together may even start spraying which they can spray far! And it can be messy!
