hi! well im alive!

the doctors numbed me and then cut me open. but the needle was far worse. 10mis of a big needle!!!!!!!! so my chest was numbed and the doctors worked away, they covered my head but a nuse held my hand and took it off, and me turn the other way. she mde me take, i talked about christmas and my two bunnys, she had 1 aswell!

if u walked past... u would of heard 2 idiots tking about bunnys!lol

i have had 2 pain killers. they dont work. my sholder is killing me, and if i move that side its so sore i cried oout i the hospital cafe!!!

the loop recorder seems to work fine, its in for 2yrs!!!!!!!!!

yeh, well im kind of, half an hour at the most.

im ment 2 stay 8 inchs from any electric defices. aka, i pod, laptop, phone, tv.

thats why my font is so big lol!

at least im ok

Glad to hear all went well, irishlops! I can understand how going into it, it might be quite frightening. When I was married my husband had to have a new battery put in his pacemaker (he'd had a pacemaker put in to regulate his heartbeat when he was 16), and he was terrified because he was going to be awake for the operation. But once he went through the surgery he was fine. Oh, and he had to be careful around some electrical things as well, especially microwaves (and since he was a cook...it made his job a bit harder...lol).

I hope the pain you've been feeling wears away soon, and you'll be back up and at 'em in no time.

Big hugs

i have 2 follow the rules of a pace maker aswell. 8 inchs away from, phone, laptop, i pod....

i was awake aswell!!

ok i keep saying this but the needle was worse!

i could feel her the doctoer fishing around inside me! but it did not hurt..

the nurse was nice and had an albino bunny

How can you talk on a phone with it 8 inches away? Is that just cell phones?

and a keyboard to a computer..... isn't that the same? or is it your chest has to be that far away?

I'm curious! Glad you're home and hope things go really well for you!

Hooray! You made it through! I hate operations/procedures that they make you stay awake for. I've had a few, and they freak me out! You're such a trooper! Congrats on the whole "still being alive" thing! ;)

my chest hs to be 8inches away, so thats why my font is so big!:biggrin2:

so i still have 2 shout in my cell phone and my familys house phone1:biggrin2:

oh and the left side is the side i got it in... right..

it is so sore, i screamed in the hospital cafe and every 1 stared!

so my left arm can hadly be moved. and if i take deep breaths, turn the wrong way, move my sholder, open my mouth to wide(i found out during dinner..) it is SSSSOOOOO sore and the pain killer dont work..:grumpy:

Just don't baby your arm too much. It may hurt like heck right now, but if you don't move it at all, it will hurt more. In the long run, it is better to move it a little now (to keep the mobility) instead of babying it because it hurts to much to move. Just move it a little, keep it in your comfort range. :)

thats what im doing now!:biggrin2:

it abit better,,...

oh,, not that high, cover my bunnies ears!

When I had my pacemaker put in I couldn't life my arm any higher than my shoulder for like 6 weeks cuz it could pull the leads going to my heart out...needed that time for them to grow into my heart. They also dug like a pocket in my tissue there to put it in, that sucker hurt for months after that!

Do you have anything like that? Why can't you be near certain things? Used to be that way w/ pacemakers, but now I can get close to about anything, they've improved microwaves, phones etc...the only thing I have to worry about is the huge magnet that is a big UPS in case of power failure at work....I can't be w/in 25 feet of that...feel the interference if I get to close!

G/L, I hope they find out soon what is happening!
