Well I was able to get Sweetie a free exam at Rabbit Haven. She does not have ear mites or an ear infection. Her teeth grinding was from emotional pain from losing Prince. She is still grieving the loss of Prince, her bondmate. She is a very healthy bunny!!!!!!!! I have learned something today: rabbits grind their teeth when in emotional pain. I feel so much better about this situation with Sweetie. I am proud that she is very healthy and now I know why she was grinding her teeth, she is in emotional pain. I will get her through this grieving process.

Maybe the mineral oil and euclens otic cleanser has worked on her ears. I have a feeling that this is what happened.

I don't have to dose her with anything, which I am very happy with that. I am also very happy that Sweetie is avery healthy rabbit.

Thank you for all who have truly helped me and Sweetie through this situation. Now I just need to get her through the grieving process.

oh my, isn't that a crazy thing? I knew bunnies feel sad, etc, but this is so sad...
I mean, it's still better than a health issue, I suppose..
Anyway, it's good to know she's healthy and I hope she feels happier soon. What a sweet bunny...

Sweetie, how about trying to get her another friend at some point (not now I understand) It might help her to get over the grieving sooner.

CCWelch: I have Pudden already and am trying to bond them. I have to do it slowly because she might not want to bond to him. It hit her that Prince is gone forever when I kept Pudden. So yes, I am working on bonding them so that she has a friend.
