Hi I'm new... Ok onto topic Patch (one of my buns) has started a new thing.. She gets to run and play in my room all day. (And she used to go back in her cage at 8:30 exactly and shut the cage door) (so Oreo couldn't get in and steal her food) but recently she has started just running around all crazy and acting aggressive when I try to get her into her cage. Once I do get her in her cage I get ready to go to sleep but Patch thinks it's a good idea to claw and bite her cage..all night.... And she keeps me up.. Basically I'm wondering why this is happening and what I can do to try and stop it...

-I've tried outing a blanket over her cage and she just chewed holes into my blanket..
-I've tried giving her treats when she is in her cage... Doesn't work

Sorry, I don't have any advice. Perhaps a bit later when more people show up here there will be some more experienced members who can make suggestions from their experience. So far I've only experienced the occasional bunny noise to wake me up but even that is rare. Hope you get some help soon.

You need to be patient waiting for possible answers from other members. Behavioral issues can be complicated and though you have people viewing your question, many people may not have the experience to know what to suggest, not to mention that a lot of people are busy during the middle of the day and may not have time to answer until later. So you just have to wait for someone to come along that may be able to answer your question.

How old is your rabbit and is she spayed yet? Is your other rabbit fixed? Are they bonded and living together in the same cage?

I keep my rabbit in my room as well, and one thing I've learned is when all else fails, investing in a couple of pairs of earplugs goes a very long way in ensuring a good night's rest. Rabbits are much more active at night than in the morning, and if you haven't had her for very long it could be possible that she's getting more comfortable in her environment now and wants to be out more often.
