It's easier to scoop large amounts of clotted blood up, then wipe up the rest. I used to work in a blood lab.

Those pictures actually made me cry at work. Especially the shot of all the SCLC leaders looking heartbroken. But MLK Jr. was such an amazing person and it was such a huge event in our history, I think people need to understand what happened.

I wish Civil Rights history was taught regularly in schools. I only know much because of an optional Contemporary US History course in high school. Every other history class at my school stopped right around when WWII ended. Of course my school was 99% northern white farm kids, so it might be different elsewhere.

Those are some extremely emotion-packed photos.

It's funny how pictures from that long ago (especially of important events/people) never surfaced until now.

If I remember correctly, they just found another picture that possibly shows Abraham Lincoln in a group of people.

Old photos just keep popping up.
