Well, once again, my wisdom tooth is causing me major issues. I think the bacteria in my mouth (despite brushing) from this flu got into the pocket of tissue this particular wisdom tooth lives in (it's up on the side of my jaw because I don't have any room in the regular tooth section for it to grow), and now it's all swollen and painful.

So, just as my flu is starting to wane, I now have incredible tooth pain to handle once again. *sigh*

Danny will help me out with swishing warm salt water, since that's what got it to chill out last time. PLEASE pray that it works...

Also pray that we can just have these four annoyances out as soon as possible. The cost has given us pause many times now (since I last had issues)...but with a couple of jobs, we should be more than able to do it.

Ugh...and all this right after learning some major life lessons. Funny how you get tested on this stuff RIGHT AFTER learning it!!

:grumpy:

Goooooosefraba......

I'll be praying - I take garlic sometimes since it is a natural antibiotic - and I use some rum on my gums to help numb them....(or something like that).

:hug:Feel better!

I'm sure you know this, but I'll say it anyway:pif you have a flushing syringe around (in the bunny emergency kit) it can really help get in there and get the icky out!

It's probably impacted and if you have sinus issues with this flu, it can cause pressure on your teeth.

My teeth always hurt when I get a sinus infection.

Awww, I'm sorry hun. I had to have all 4 of mine out too. Nasty thing, those wisdom teeth. Feel better. Maybe the swelling will go down. It really could be your sinuses.

Thanks for your ideas, guys...:)

Yeah, I'm sure it has to do with my sinuses...as I had a cold shortly before the last time this happened...so it has to be related...:grumpy:

My wisdom teeth have hurt me so long...it's silly I still have them!

Oh Rosie, I'm sorry you caught the darn flu. Glad you're better with that. Could you just go and get the one wisdom that's hurting pulled now? Likely, they won't pull all of them at once anyway, they'd have to numb way too much to all four areas, most won't do that.

The syringe sprayer is a good idea, like Katie suggested. That's usually what they give you after an extraction to keep the area clean. If you have one, you could fill it with salt water and syringe the area out with that.

I wish you well, hope you feel better very soon!

Aw man I feel ya! I have been sick for what seems like forever. It occured to me yesterday though, my "head colds" seem to revolve around my bad teeth. When I have a cavity or one that needs to get pulled only anti's keep me sane till I can get them taken care of. Once the tooth is fixed, I feel better.
My dental plan stinks so it takes me forever to get going on it. Medicare doesn't cover poo!!

I hope you start feeling better soon and everything gets resolved as quick as possible.
