I'm having rotten luck finding any does :grumpy:Like I think I've said before, I sold out of my BEW mini rex and am now getting into broken/solid blacks and blues. I gota buck from Blaze_Amita but am having absolutely no luck with finding does. I've got ads up on Farm Classifieds, hoobly, and domestic sale with not response. I've also looked at the mini rex club website but there aren't any close enough other than B&B Farms but the does are on litters and won't be avaliable until august. Anything else is too far away and I can't really travel more than three hours :(. *sigh* I'm frustrated.

Kentucky huh! Hmmm lemme see if I can find someone. And you may HAVE to drive more than three hours if you really really want a doe, or you will have to wait till August. I am driving 12 hours in July to get some excellent does who will be off thier litters at that point.

Thanks, I'll look into it :biggrin:I've contacted someone with a gorgeous broken black doe for sale and am seeing if we can arrange something (I've already sent her another email asking what her policies are). They're in Indiana but I' going to see if we can work something out. The one I'm talking about is the Sr. Broken black doe in the 4th picture down.

Yea, I figured I might have to go further than I wanted to. It all depends how far my parents are willing to drive me. They're not really as supportive of my rabbit habit as I'd like them to be. (Though my mom is better about it than my dad)

I think we've worked out that she has a friend who lives in louisville thats going up to see her and has agreed to take the rabbit back with her. I'm also looking in to breedingthe doewith one of her GCs before her friendtakes her. It'll expand my gene pool that much more ;)

Thanks, yea I've decided not to take the offer of breeding her before she arrives because it would cost more than it costs to buy her :pOh well, I have a looooovely buck who should have three legs coming in the mail any time now :)Just working out the details now.

lol Congrats. I'm now having the same problem you had. :p But with finding a havana buck. I've check nearly every online breeders listing, havanarb.org listings, etc and nothing. Problem is a lot of the breeders around here don't have anything posted online, they just appear at shows. :p
