Hi all,
So i really need advice on this ASAP.
I want to build an NIC condo for my 2 female bunnies (they are sisters). Should i build 2 cages that are smaller, or one big cage for them to share? i don't think the divider is going to really work out, so can they just be in the one cage together? Would building 2 separate cages be better? I also want to try and see if i can attach a MINI xpen thing to their NIC condo(s) just so they can have a little more room. THe room they will be in however, is small, and i need half the room for my own things. They are getting half the room. What should i do?

Have they been together for their whole lives? I think they should be fine if they've been together always. If you've separated them for a while they'll need to be reintroduced, but I think they should do okay.
How old are they and are they spayed?
So, I think one big cage would probably be okay. But, I would build it with a divider in mind, just in case they don't get along then you can pop at divider in.

If they're bonded I don't think keeping them together would do any harm. Maybe create a divider for all except one area. For example:

Create a cage like this, and only leave the third level open, so they can be together without being in each other's space.

For the x-pen I think that's a good idea. Leave the doors open and attach the X pen to the side of the cage. :)

The size of your condo is about the size I need, so thank you for posting that pic!! :)
Morgan: they are not spayed, they are only 8-9weeks old, and they have been together their whole lives from birth to now :)

So, i just thought of something: we had the two babies sexed at the pet store, and the lady there was pretty well experienced, though she said there was a chance she was wrong. She said both our babies were females, and I think they are. But, if there is a chance they are male and female, should i just have the divider up anyway? i'm pretty sure they're females, but i don't want them breeding (they technically couldn't being siblings) so should i have the divider up? Should i also make the xpen so that i have to open a door that leads to it before the bunnies have access to it, or should they be allowed access to it at all times?

You'll have to be the one to decide if you want them out in their x-pen all the time or just when you want them out. You'll have to decide which works out better for you. My bun stays out most of the day, but she has my entire kitchen to roam, but she goes up when I leave.

I would check and make sure they're both females just to make sure. If they are siblings and different sexes, you wouldn't want that. I would just make sure that you have 2 girls!
-If they aren't both girls then I would separate them with something solid. Then you get them spayed and neutered in a few months and you could probably re-introduce them and re-bond them. I'm not an expert though, and someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

The first thing I would do though is make sure that they're the same sex. When did the lady sex them? If it was recently, I would wait till they were a little older, and take them back to her for a recheck to make sure; since she was unsure about one of them.
Hope that helps! Those are just things that I would do.

Even if they both are females, they'll probably start acting hormonal soon & will have to be separated then.

And if one is a male, they definitely can & will breed if not separated, siblings or not. Rabbits are equal-opportunity humpers & can be pregnant at 3 months.

Whitelop: she sexed them pretty recently, so i do want to go back or maybe to a vet or something to be sure. i think i will allow them free roam of the exercise pen, and i think i will have a divider put in when they start getting hormonal.

Idunno, it should be pretty easy to sex them. Sounds gross but turn them each upside down and look near their bottom; If you see two little red "sacs" near the tail, that bun is a boy.

If you find out one of them is a boy, they'll need to have seperate cages at least a few inches from each other. Someone said on here (forgot who) that their rabbits actually did the deed through the cage bars.
