Does anyone here collect them? I just dragged out my sisters old collection, she has a ton of them! Anyone here collect, I want to find out if any of them are valuable.

I used to. Your best bet for pricing would be online. Type them in a search engine. That will give you a base idea for pricing, then look in eBay and see what people are actually spending on them! :)

I used to collect them... I have a ton of them... (I am thinking about donating to a home for abused children) someone may as well use them as they are in a storage chest..

Ya I don't think many people collect them anymore, they are really cute though! Took pics of them a little while ago.

I don't think they are the rage they once were, but there are some that have some value. I'm sure there is some sort of value guide available. I just got a TY bunny for Christmas.

I have seen some be as valuable as $3,500 .

I only have 3....a vintage looking mouse lady and two bunnies. The bunnies are worth $8 each and I got them for 25 cents at a thrift store (in perfect condition).

I used to collect them. My friend and I on lunches would drive around town going crazy over the newest ones that would come out. Needless to say we gave up and I sold most of mine in a garage sale. I kept my favorites and my son has them now.

My mom used to collect them. We have tons still.
My wife has closets full of them. Each one with the plastic tag and some in the storage box. At one time we had all the beanie bears.

I have a few myself. :p

Hell today i went to saveonfoods here in alberta and got a tiny christmas polear bear that rattles for 75 cents for LuvrofWabbitsandPolearBears aka my sister lol. We both collect ones we like lol

I love collecting Rabbits/Holiday ones and my sister collects Polar Bear ones, or any that are "OMGGGGGGGGGG IT'S SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and we fight if we really need to buy it.... if it's cute enough... if it'd go with the collection etc etc etc lol

That is cheap. And I thought the Christmas beanie babies at London Drugs ($2.99) was cheap.

LOL yah i kow, they were on clearance "reduced to sell" a lady in the other lane from us had like almost one of each in her cart i was like "wow......"

I have a lot of Beanie Babies too! They started getting really popular when I was about 10. It was so frustrating for me as a kid because I really wanted some Beanie Babies (I have and always will have a weakness for stuffed animals, or even plastic animals as evidenced by my collection of Schleich figurines!) but the stores were always out because adults would come in and buy them all. I didn't get my first ones until I was 12, I remember it was right after Christmas and I got three of them at a store at the mall. Sadly I can't remember which three they were, except one was the Doberman. If I looked through my collection, I'm sure I'd remember which ones I got first! But I collected well over a hundred. I had a rough, lonely adolescence and Beanie Babies were one of the main things I found joy in, aside from my rabbit Cinnabun. My mom got in on collecting some too and it was one of the few things we could do together peacefully!

Most of my Beanies are in a very heavy box in my closet at my mom's house, my favorites are on a shelf. I don't plan on selling them any time soon. I figure when I have children, they can play with my Beanies.
