I recently got two new lionhead bunnies. I was told by the breeder that they were two females so I housed them together and they are really attached to each other. Yesterday we took them to the vet and found out that one is a male and the other one is female. They just turned three months yesterday and my vet said that they are too young for a pregnancy to occur. However, I am very worried about having little babies especially little babies from two litter mates. My question is what age can a female rabbit get pregnant and at what age can a male rabbit impregnant a female. Also what is the best way to split the two up so that after they are fixed they will still be bonded. Right now the two are super close and when I put them into seperate cages the other one is constantly searching for the other.
