all you USA membersgot your taxes done?
(i got checks back already)

it's going to be sunny and in the 60's today.
too bad i've got to work.

anyone else watch "the ghost and mr. chicken"last night?
me and the bunnies watched it, and then "the reluctant astronaut" was on right after.

had chicken and rice for dinner last night.
not sure what's on the menu for tonight.

tonight is "scariest places on earth" night.

Did the taxes on the first, got the returns last week and waiting on that one check we'll get in May....

Nope - didn't watch tv. I had to work the horses and a bunch of other stuff.

Funny, I was thinking this morning "I should make chicken and rice tomorrow!" LOL!

Meetings, practice, horses, all sorts of good stuff tonight.....

Had to work today and it was a long day.

Have to work tomorrow and it will be a long day.

I'm tired.

Cheques gosh how many cheques do you guys get back:USA:? I think I'm living in the wrong country:Canada small:. LOL

Susan:weee:

We get State and Federal if we over pay.

This year we get a rebate which is about $300 per person.

you're so right.....

....they're actually giving us back our own money....

you'd think they'd toss in a little interest.:twocents

and i always wondered why i had to pay taxes when i was in the military.

I got my tax check back at the start of April. I only worked the summer and my tuition and all that is more than I earned so I got back all the taxes I paid, YAY! I'm going to use some of it to buy a bunny garden statue as a grave marker for Spice. I'm just having a problem finding any decent ones in Canada, the US has all the nice ones. :(

I didn't watch anything last night. I spent 4 hours driving, gotback tothe town I work in onlyto find the power was out and everything was closed and the power didn't come back on until 10 pm!

I spent the last 10 days with the bunnies and now I am spending my last 8 days bunny-less to finish my work term. I already miss them so much. Especially Reesie, I feel so bad for her! She seems so lonely, I gave her a stuffed animal and she spends every minute cuddling with it. I'll post pictures later, she really loves her teddy!

Pet_Bunny, your wife aught to meet Reese now. If she fell for her before, she'd really love her now. She is 50 times sweeter and showers people in kisses.

There are some really nice statues on that site, and some are free shipping! You'll have to email them about shipping to Canada.

If you find something you like from the United States, I could get it and ship it to you if you wanted me to. I wouldn't mind, since it's for Spice especially.

ALSO: someone posted a bunny angel statue link on here..... I'll see if I can find it.

BBB,

A couple do ship to Canada but they being out of the US means I forfeit the 'free shipping' and it ends doubling the list price of the statue. So I am just going to look around the city and I should be able to find something eventually. The biggest problem is Canadian companies seem to not have websites and that's a problem for ordering almost anything online in Canada. You pretty much have to go into the stores here to find what you want so that is what I will do. With Spring here there should be some statues in Garden Centres and what not.

So here is Reese and her new fury friend. (Her run is wet from the melting snow so I put mats down for her.)

And here is Zoey's uppy-eared rabbit impression:

And Mocha being a good hus-bun! (Notice how his back foot is forward? He had been cleaning his foot when Zoey stuck her nose inbetween his head and foot to be groomed.)

And last... uber adorable Reesie sleeping, he he.

She really liked Reese and I really liked Spice. We have to see her again. Some how, I like the idea of a bigger bunny. When I hold Bebe, and then pick up Pebbles, Pebbles seems so small. But I wouldn't give up Pebbles for the world. Bebe bit my wife this morning again. There is a hole in my wifes finger nail. Bebe just doesn't like my wife invading her space in the cage. :?

My income tax is done too. There is a nice sum for me to get back. It is enough to get a pro lens for my camera. But don't let my wife hear me saying that. :p

They look great MBB. The sun looks so warm on them. I haven't had a chance to take my two outside yet. Our back yard is a mess when we let our dog out to do his business.

Pet_Bunny, I am all for the bigger rabbits too but Reese is the sweetest rabbit I have ever met. She isn't happy if you pet her and she has nothing to lick, half the time she twists her head around or spins around to kiss your hand so it has to be a 2-handed thing -- one hand to pet her and one for her to kiss. I just melt everytime I see her.

Spice was awesome as he got older, you wouldn't know he was a terror as a young rabbit, lol, nor would you know he was terrified of people the first 2 years of his life because he wasn't handled at all until I got him at 4 months old and he bonded to Mocha and then it took over a year after they were split up to start to see that loving and mellow personality emerge. I really miss him so much, he was really special to me and I know Reese misses him too. But Spice had a good 4 years with me and he spent the last few months of his life with his soul mate. It's just too bad they didn't have more time together, they really were a once in a lifetime match for eachother.

But you will definitely have to come see Reese again, and meet Mocha and the Zoey-monster!

BBB,Reese is so kissable, I spend hours petting her, cuddling and kissing her whenever I go home. She is just so loving and lovable. I can't believe she will be 6 this September (and I've already had her over a year)!

Oh I had to add this.. I went and laid down in their run and Mocha comes over almost everytime and settles himself down beside me for some quality petting time. He is such a people rabbit!

CUTNESS OVERLOAD, MBB !!!

pack zoey up and send her to me pleeze !!

and reese must be sending vibes to my tootsie...cuz i've been getting more "tootsie kisses' then i ever imagined i ever would!!

:biggrin2:

tonight was "litter pan" night...then i fed/watered/hayed them.

it was leftovers for dinner for me.....
chicken, ziti, peppers & onions topped w/ mozzerella cheese....broiled to a crispy brown.
i make great leftovers!

i ate with the bunnies and we watched "scariest places" (they get too scared when they watch it alone)

now it's timeto have some chocolate ice cream and watch M*A*S*H.....then i'm going to try to get some sleep.

Sorry, I love Zoey's quirks so she ain't going no where! :p

I can't remember what I ate, LOL, but I know I did eat. It sucks cooking for one person, there is no real will to cook anything becuase it almost always ends up being too much, lol. Plus with this being my last 8 dayshere, I am living on what I have left, LOL, so mac and cheese week it is. ;)

With you behind the camera - seems to me that any lens you use is a pro lens....

You just have such a gift for photography...

I agree Peg, all Stan's photos are amazing!

I've just been looking at statues online to figure out what sort of thing I want to look for and I've found some I really like so lets hope I can find something like them in Canada!

I really like the 2 on the left (too bad it comes in packages of 4 or I probably would have taken it)

I'm not sure this one would withstand the elements but it really reminds me of Spice as a baby with thise big ears and slim features:

The big one looks like it's binkying and it reminds me of Spice (too bad it's not bigger)...

Hey Laura, those are so really nice statues you picked out. Have you looked at Home Sense or Winners? They always have so really cute bunnies. If you do see one their buy it right away, if you wait and go back it's sure to be sold.

BTW you pictures are wonderful but then you have the cutest models to photograph. Have you ever thought about getting Reese a bunny buddy? She really is the cutest.

What ever happened to the little lionhead you had last fall?

Susan:)
