I was going to go to the show in Crosby, TX this weekend and take Nyx, Sophia, Athena, Mercury and Hermes.

Part of the reason I wanted to go was that I wanted to see how Nyx and Sophia do on the show tables....but...

I am sure Sophia is pregnant (3 weeks) - and she is getting SOOOO big and so uncomfortable even though she still has 10 days to go. I'm thinking I could stress her too much with a 7 hour drive one way (plus the show).

Nyx might be pregnant - I can't tell (when I told her a bit ago that I was checking for kicking - she tried to kick me).

Athena - is still nursing - and I get the feeling that judges aren't fond of working with a doe that is nursing - even if her litter is 9 weeks old now. (We thought her milk had dried up - it hasn't).

So that leaves me driving all that distance for Hermes and Mercury.

So this question is for breeders - especially breeders who are experienced in taking pregnant/nursing rabbits to shows (and Pam who is a judge).

Would you go anyway and bring the girls? Sophia & Nyx would only be 21 days pregnant...

Or would you decided to pass?

Thanks Pam. That is what I was looking for since I knew they could show early in their pregnancy.

Looks like we'll stay home this weekend...which is probably best.
