I enjoyed it as well, although it got rather poor reviews. I watched it in IMAX 3D, and found the overall effect to be a positive one. I don't know how much it matters that I never saw the first movie, and most of the ill reviews are about how movie sequels are getting made and not going along well with the original and other such things.

Still a very good movie, if you ask me.

I liked it! I really want to see the original movie now. They brought in the posters and action figures from the original movie and now I want to see what the first story was.

I was a fan of the original back when I was a kid, so I'm looking forward to seeing this new one.

We liked the original and saw the new one at the IMAX 3-D--it was good too. Usually don't give too much credit to reviewers as they seem to be trying to impress rather than give an honest appraisal. Movies are just like cartoons, but with people and not to be confused with reality. Most early reviews of Avatar weren't good and we felt like "did they really go and see the movie?".
