So, my mom gave me this one to scan in...

New Years Eve, 1965

NewYearsEve19650002.jpg

Sitting at the table are my Mom, Dad, and leaning over his shoulder is my Aunt. The other couple was my father's accountant and his wife. This is 4 years before my brother was born, 5 years before my sis, 7 years before I was born. :)

Anyone have any old photos to share?

Well, this isn't too old, being that I was born in 1987... :p This is a portrait of my half-sisters and I. It would have been taken in 1988 or early 1989.
From the top, it's my oldest sister, Amy, then Kristin, then me! :biggrin2:

Aww soo cool! What a neat idea! I will have to take pics of my old photos lol. I dont know how to scan.

I love this photo. It's my grandparents' wedding photo. I never remember them being very happy around each other, though they were married over 50 years, so it's nice to see them happy together. Not sure what year this was. (1940's sometime?)

And my parents, somewhere around 1975. Again, it's nice to see them looking happy together. They divorced when I was 2, so I don't actually remember my dad around at all when I was growing up, other than a few old photos I have.

Here is a picture of little Will. If he knows that I posted this, I have a feeling that I am going to get my butt kicked! Haha! This was probably taken in 1988 or 1989, too. His hair was blonde when he was little, but when he was three it turned dark brown. Sometimes, it looks almost black! Here he is! :p

This is me on the right and my sister on the left. I can't even remember when this "Beauty" was taken.

Susan:)

I LOVE old photos! I should have more soon as I'm borrowing a scanner, but here are a couple I do have.

This is me as a wee tot, my mum is holding me and those are one of my sets of great grandparents. They were the oldest set and have passed away since - they were my grandads parents and I don't remember them much. The great grandad died when he was 99, in 1997.

I think this pic would have been 1983-1984, not sure how old I am there, but I assume about a year and a bit maybe? I was born in 82.

(this is my mum now, she's so young looking I think )

Me and mum again:

Mum about 17 and pregnant with me:

My brother and I, I think he was about 5/6 there and I was 7/8.

And my faaaavourite relly, my grandma, with one of my least favourites, my grandad haha! On their wedding day, 1964. Mum was born later that year...shotgun wedding!

Michelle, your family is so gorgeous! Your grandmother's eyes are beautiful!

I will have to find some photos and scan them. This is really cool :) What a good idea for a thread!

That picture, totally reminds me of outrageous fortune when they did the wedding flashback lol.
But those are so cool, I love your water pistols!. And you were a cute wee munchkin. I really need a scanner to put some up!

Edited, because they are bubble guns, not water pistols and I said haha WAY to much lol

Nice pictures everyone! I love old photos, but they always make me sad as I wish I could go back to certain times in my life when I look at them.:(

Here is one of my favourites thatwas already scanned onto my computer of me (on the left), my sister and my cat (thenkitten!)Ollie:

And people wonder why I call Ollie my little brother...I've grown up with him!:)

It's NZminilops here, gah, not sure what is wrong but once again I can't sign into RO under my usual name, and all the pics aren't showing for me on here, grr.

Anyway I just found one more to add, I thought it was rather appropriate hehe! My uncle in the 70's.

I have some REALLY old ones that I scanned in last year. They are of my husband's great-grandmother when she lived in Nome, Alaska. Her family was mining gold there from around 1900 to 1915.

I wish I had the one pic of my dad when he was two and his sisters put him in a dress because he had long curly hair and his mom didn't want to cut the curls... my dad found out we had it and he took it because he didn't want anyone to see it...

i love to see peoples pics

LOL, I have one of my son just like that, he too had long curly hair, and his sisters convinced him to "dress up" :biggrin2:.
