Too old for her first litter?

My dutch girl will be a year old 12/13 is she too old to have her first litter?

I have bred her twice but she has not taken. I think its because she is too chunky.If she is too old i will just keep her as my pet shes aspit fire and no one would want her as a pet:p
 
She should be okay, but if she doesn't take, then I'd pet her out. 3rd time's the charm is what I go by...and usually the 3rd time works.

I would exercise her for a couple days before you breed her though. ;) That way she can loose a little bit of weight. Might not be significant, but any little bit will help.

I'm breeding a MR doe tomorrow and I'm exercising her even though she's not chunky.

No it's not.. Make sure she is ready by checking her. And you can help breeding also.
