Well as many of you know my grandfather who is 96y/o has been in the hospital alot lately between a stroke and bladder cancer. Then Wed my 19y/o son developed the flu....he's at college. Went to the doctor they told him he was off work and school for the rest of the week. Friday morning he calls me all upset he's having immense stomach pain. 7 hours later after being in the ER all day we find out it thank God it's NOT appendicitis, but its a viral infection which has caused swelling in the lymph nodes in his abdomen. They gave him medication and he's doing better. Now an hour ago I get a phone call from my mom that she's rushing my dad to the ER as his mouth has swollen shut for no apparent reason. I feel like I'm losing my mind here. Between all of them and my own health problems I need a vacation badly.

:hugsquish:

I feel for you all those family problems it's not easy keeping your cool.
My mother was recently in the hospital but not our local one as her and dad were on holidays. She had emergency surgery for a bleeding Ulcer :( This would be her 5th one in many years :(

Yep....although where they first thought it was to his meds now they're wondering if it was something else. So its the old hurry up and wait game.

Just an update...Dad was definitely allergic to his blood pressure medicine. And last night grandpa was rushed to the ER with a blood pressure of 70/40. They got it back up to 130/70 but his kidneys are not functioning right, neither is his heart and he has a urinary tract infection. So it's only a matter of time.

He has pnuemonia now although the kidneys are doing a bit better. My parents contacted hospice. They're bringing him home once he is stable so that his last days can be spent there. Thank you for all of your prayers. It has helped alot.
