Todat is my daughters birthday

today is my daughter Hollys birthday... she turned 12... I feel extra blessed on this day because when she was born she was premature and very sick ... I had a c-section and they had to do cpr and the doctors didn't think she would survive... but she did... and now she is healthy except for athsma....

she says thank you... that pic was a year ago... I took her out for breakfast and to pick up her cake... it was just the 2 of us... we had a good time...

Christmas babies are great...we had one on December 26th, 17 years ago. Joshua loves that his b-day is at Christmas time...does Holly?

she doesn't like her birthday because eveyone forgets it... even her grandpa and step grandma forgets it....

we try to celebrate it early so she feels like she has a birthday

Yeah, talking to others who have December birthdays, I think the ones who have the birthdays before Christmas really don't like it. Everyoneis too busy. People don't usually forget Josh's birthday, on the 26th. We're all exhausted, of course...but heistoo. He'snormally satisified to go out for fast food to celebrate, and one of us has torun him to the mall to spend his birthday/Christmas money. The last couple of years, he's shopped on-line, and that's even better!!
