Toby's getting snipped tomorrow. He'sonly 15 weeks (according to the breeder), but his cajones were fullydescended when I got him four weeks ago.

I want to get this done before he learns how tospray.

Iwould liketo house him with Snuggy andBaby. They get along great, but Toby annoys them with all themounting.

Wish us luck. I take him in at 7:00 in the morning.

Laura

Thanks, everyone.

I dropped Toby off about an hour ago. Can you believe I hadto sign something saying whether or not he is to receive painmedication??? How can anyone refuse it? That'sinhumane! I didn't use my regular vet because he charges $212for a neuter and I just can't afford that right now. Now I'mquestioning my decision.

Please pray for little Toby. I'll be a mess until they call.

Thanks,

Laura

The vet just called to say the neuter went well. He said Toby is not awake yet, but should be shortly.

I may be able to take him home today! Yay!

Hey!

Toby is finally home! He is in his cage right now, layingdown. He is peeing/pooping and drinking lots ofwater. YES!! He has eaten a carrot. Hiseyes are wide openand he iswalking around his cagea little.Hegot lots of love when he came backhome. Mom gavehim some pain killer and itwent in his mouth fine. Toby even licked a little off thesyringe! My Dad isn't going to hammer around in the attictonight on behalf of Toby. My mom (Laura) and I are so gladthat he got to come home and that he is okay! Thank youeveryone for all your prayers! It worked!

Oh, I also have a question. His eyes are red and itchy. Is this normal?

Thanks,

Ally and Laura

During surgery, most vets will use an ointmentor drops in the eyes since the animals may not be able to blink due tothe anesthesia. It's usually better the next day.

Yea!! I am so glad Toby is home anddoing so well. I'm glad he's doing so well. I will say prayers that hefeels better soon. Kiss his little head for me.

:bouquet:Get well soon Toby.
