So I have had my boy and girl bun (in seperate cages) for about 7 months now, and they love each other (they will groom each other through cage bars). On saturday I got a new girl bun, and this stressed out my girl. My girl bun I already had has been marking all the furniture in the room when she's out (by rubbing her chin on everything), and seems to be peeing more, and being a little messy. I think she's mad, and teritorial. So I was thinking I would gradually spay and neauter all of them (financially can't do all of them at once). Would this help overall in owning 3 buns (all caged seperate)? I was hoping I could then put my original boy and girl together, they really like each other.

Having all your buns fixed is a good idea and keeping them separate since they haven't been fixed yet is a good idea as well. Your first girl bun is probably just a little jealous, and for the time being, there may be poop wars.

Fixing will really help with the territorial behaviour. Moreover, your rabbits will live longer and healthier lives. For female rabbits, the surgery will effectively eliminate the risk of uterine cancer (which is quite high for un-spayed rabbits at 85-90%) and decrease the risk for a few other cancers. Similarly, the risk for testicular cancer for males will be removed.

Take your time, save up, and find a rabbit-savvy vet that you trust.

There are definitely poop wars ahahahahaha. When she was around for her run around, she made sure to leave little poop piles in every nook and cranny, lol. I think I am going to get all 3 fixed. Thanks goodness it's tax return time, which will hopefully help, lol. I would really love to have my first female and male together, they really love each other, I can see a great bond there.
