So I lived in Germany and had so ship the buns out to my mom may 9th. They have a routine and are comfortable there. I'm staying with my parents for a month then we are all moving to Oklahoma. Kai baby is fixing to go on four months. Should I neuter him now while he's comfortable in a routine or just wait a few extra months until we settle in Oklahoma and re-establish a new routine? The vet here in houston is a lot closer than the hour and half drive in Oklahoma. But convenience isn't to much of an issue. He's a solid eater and not on vegetables yet. Just hay and pellets.

If it was me, I would wait until you are completely settled in. It makes it easier on all parties. If Kai is fine, no dominance issues, or spraying, I don't see where the harm is in waiting. You all have been through a lot with the move back home. Settle first, and then proceed with Kai's neutering. It's always better to let the bunnies unstress themselves instead of adding on more stress.

It sounds like a tossup to me. If you know & like the vet there in TX, that might be enough for you to go ahead now. It would depend how soon if could be done there. It's have to be soon, so you'd be sure he had no complications before he was traveling.

Also to add, bigger bunnies mature slower. Flemish Giants I read do not become sexually mature until 1-1/2 years. Just thought I put that in. Kai is a BIG rabbit.
