I don't know if kale would work.

Generally, a lot of biscut recipes do sound like the mix would be dry.I look in the bowl before I roll it out and go "No Way!!". But theyalways come out right.

You could probably grate the carrot, but by making it a puree you create more liquid content for the recipe.

Same with the banana. It could be ok just to mash it, but by making it creamy you make more of a liquid for the mix.
