Tired of Being Sick

:rant:Three weeks ago I became sick with what my doctor called a upper respiratory infection and missed some work, Ican't afford to miss anymore. After two courses of antibiotics I began to feel better, that was short lived over the last weekendmy throat became sore. I saw my doctor again and he said I have tonsolitis, however, it feels the same as before. I am on my second z-pak and I am not feeling any better.

I haven't had more then four hours of sleep a night for the past week and its hard to be productive at work. I also feel bad becauseit is hard totake care of my buns and give themmuch attention.


In addition, I broke a tooth today!

i understand how you feel, i have been sick twice this year with it really bad 3 weeks of feeling like crap with each and the 4th weel of slight crap, and now i'm feeling off again, i'm a bit unhappy about this, it's the most i have been sick in years. so i feel for you. and undertand. hang in there, and get well soon

I'm wondering if it's not walking pnemonia. My husband finally got so sick he went to er and was admitted to the hospital with pnemonia. Be very careful. If you get a fever or have no energy, it could be pnemonia.

Cost was $5700 with er and being in hospital too:shock:.

I'm sorry to hear you've been sick for awhile.
It is possible that you could have tonsilitis. Some people get re-occuring cases of it. I had it actually for about a half a year, because my doctor kept checking me for mono, not tonsilitis. :grumpy: Finally, I was sent to specialist who diagnosed tonsilitis. Then, I got my tonsels out. After the recovery period, I felt good as new. If it is tonsiliits, would it be at all possible to have your tonsils removed? I know some doctors will not take them out.

I have been sick lately too, and it sounds so much like your sickness.

A few weeks ago I had the respiratory flu....NOT GOOD, as this is the one most people die from. I had this for about a week. It was horrible. Mostly I laid in bed all day, and I was sad, and I cried a lot because I didn't feel good, but it felt good to cry for some reason lol. I had a fever for 5 days, body aches, etc. etc. That was about 4 weeks ago, maybe a little longer.

Now I have stayed home today and yesterday, but been sick all week with a BAD Stomach ache - yes it's lasted all week long! It kills!! - achy body, and major sore throat + runny nose. It sucks. So bad. I'm starting to get a little better, but today it's hard for be to breathe beacuse of my sore throat and plugged-up nose, lol.

And I need to get better cuz i have a riding lesson tomorrow! :shock:

Aw Dave :hug:nothing worse than not getting over something get going with some inhalations using eucalyptus and try Pineapple (fresh ) or the juice its really good at killing off the bad bacteria in your throat and leaving the good ones
