Usually someone mentions it ahead of time. No one did this time unless I missed it. Rob gets up at 4am on Sunday. I asked him to bring me my iPod and when I look it says 5am! I told him than I had to call and let them know he would be a little late. Yeesh I hate the time change.

WAKE UP EVERYBUN! :biggrin2:

I was up late last night at a banquet, and still have to get up at 4:30 am for work. :bed:

I was setting thetime on my Timex, and the hour hand stopped turning. :X
Good thing I have other and better watches.

Speaking of driving conditions...I forgot to post that I got an impromtu day off on Friday! A fuel tanker overturned on I-4 and the interstate was closed from 4:30 am to 2 pm. And then it was only one lane east and westbound. I simply couldn't get to work! My boss said this was the most creative excuse he has heard to get off on a beautiful Friday that he has heard. I guess I've raise the bar now. I haven't figured out an excuse for tomorrow yet.

Lol! Luckily I've never forgotten the clocks changing, but I'm always super paranoid that I will.

Our clocks don't go forward until the end of the month sometime. I CAN'T WAIT! Daylight, wooohoo! :D

And Ali, how can you be awake that early in the morning? I went to bed at 4am the other night! :zzzzz

I thankfully was aware of the time change so wasn't late to work, but we did have more people in the store than normal when closing time came around because they thought it was an hour earlier. I don't think Daylight Savings has any point in Alaska because we have such weird hours of daylight for most of the year anyway!

We knew it was leap ahead, but we didn't have anyplace we had to go yesterday really..... However, we seemed an hour behind all day! I never realized how "scheduled" we were until yesterday.

I don't like daylight saving, but it's kinda nice when it comes to horses and stuff. It stays light so late, Lexi sometimes finishes riding at 8:30 or 9.

I hate daylight savings time! I'm now driving to work in the dark again. I get to work at 7:30 and sunrise wasn't even until 7:38 this morning.

I hate that bit too!

But I guess it's not for long and then the mornings start to get lighter too...

And it takes longer to warm up the car in the morning.
At the end of the day, I'm too tired to enjoy the extra light anyways. ;)

The only ones that benefit from the time shift is my bunnies.
They figure I am getting up 1 hour earlier to feed them. :biggrin2:
