Well, we left with all eight bunnies, everyone except Minnie, around 5:00 and got there around 5:45. We got everybun through vet check and settled into their cages. While we were doing this my mom was working on the tack area.

Unfortunatley she began to feel sick and had to lay down in the car. She threw up and all. We didn't decorate because she was sick. Her boyfriend and my older sister had to come and she ended up going to the hospital. Where she is right now. I didn't take any pics, it was raining, miserably cold, crazy and plus my mom didn't feel good.

I did however take two pics of them on the way up there. I will post those tomorrow evening. And tomorrow there will be tons of pics to share! I am sure FallingStar and BlueSky will contribute more pics and stories! :D

Thank you everyone! My mom is feeling much better today. She didn't have to stay in the hospital overnight. But she has to have a couple doctor appointments. She hopes to be back with us at fair by Friday.

I am uploading photos right now so then I will tell you all about our first day at TCF 2008!

I woke up this morning at 6:00 so I am soooo tired. This is what my bunnies placed:

4 in her class, Savannah: 1st place, BOB(second year!) Reserve in show!!! I was so excited! This is the first time any of our bunnies have got a best in show thing! Savvy is so good! If only this were ARBA sanctioned, then she would have her third leg.

5? in her class, Willow: Willow didn't get weighed yet, so I will do that tomorrow. Anyway she was a bit chubby and all cuz she has a bit of a dewlap but the judge gave her a second place also! So she did pretty good.

Pet class: Bruce and Autumn: Bruce probably could have been in purebred class because the judge was so easy and didn't dq a single rabbit! Or weigh them except one. But I wanted to make sure his stayed fine. Everyone in pet class got a blue ribbon. The judge said that Autumn had japanse harlequin in her backgrounds and something else, but he wasn't sure. He said that he could see the very light harlequin bands of blue on her. She was one of the top five or ten in the pet class. So Bruce and Autumn got blues.

Overall everyone did amazing! I am extremely proud of Savannah. She beat her half-brother again. My sister and Karlee are going to post about their bunnies. So here are the pics! More to come of Savvy on the table, my sis took those pics.

Thankyou! I am not going to post anything tonight, to tired and I have to take a shower. So the pics and info on today will be tomorrow!

Well yesterday at fair there wasn't anything going on except for Fitting and Showing in the afternoon. (Which I hate fitting and showing so I was kind of glad I got to wait a while.) But I also had herds, where you sweep the barn, rake the isles, check on the bunnies, and water them. You can also do the petting table where visitors can pet your rabbit, but you have to do one regular shift of herds before you can do that I think. So right at 8:00 in the morning I had herds.

Bascially after the first hour I just walked around and occasionally swept or raked. It is so boring. That is because you have to do it for two freaking unbeileabely (sp) boring hours. And there isn't much to do, especially when you have two-three other people on herds with you! Its crazy, last year we only had one hour shifts and they were long too! Each exhibitor has to do 6 hours! So I have my others tomorrow and sunday, both times with both Emi and Karlee! At least I won't be as bored!

In the afternoon, I did fitting and showing, I did okay, but most of the time I was with someone else's rabbit. A mini or holland lop, I got second because I thought the bunny was a red but I really had no clue. I also said that Polish had rollback fur when I knew they had flyback, I just spoke before i rethough, boy was I embarrassed. I am such a idiot sometimes. Well anyway today we just had the obstacle course and jumps, I tried Savvy on the obstacle course but she just wanted to chew on the wood. So yeah. Here are some of the near 90 pics I took from today and yesterday. I was trying to get 100 between today and yesterday, i was off by a little over ten. Tomorrow though I will try and get 100! I will add the rest tomorrow. I am just sooo tired.

Mhmm, by the way, my mom is feeling a lot better and she was able to come to fair today!

I guess I'll put up my placings:

Mississippi, Pet Class; 1st place; I asked the judge about his ear. It's too noticeable and distracts from his appearence, so no purebred classes. This is his last show - retiring before his 1st birthday! Now he'll just be our stud buck. :)

Magic, Pet Class; 1st place; He did good. The judge liked his markings :)

Ray, Mini Rex; 2nd place; He had a broken toe, so otherwise, he may have gotten better....like BOV...idk. The judge said he had really nice flesh and fur condition and had been one of the better animals handled during the first class, or something like that.

Lily, Pet Class; 1st place.

BREEDERS CLASS: For breeders class, I put up Ray; The judge wanted the mothers there, so I brought up Lily. He was looking for the largest jump between mother and baby, and I was in the top three. The Reserve Champ. was my friend with her Rhineland and i got BREEDERS CLASS CHAMPION!!!!!!:blueribbon: I was SO happy! I didn't think I would, but Ray is a good rabbit, and the judge was impressed for REW to come out of Blue. He said to breed Ray lol, as he'll produce nice kits :) I SO wasn't expecting breeders class champion! I thought I'd just get Honorable Mention (basically the third place ;))

RABBIT AGILITY: After some debate, I finally did the obstacle course. The obstacles were in this order: teeter totter, three jumps, touch pad (they have to touch it), A-frame, pause pad (pause), table, weave poles, large jump, 2x small jumps.

Magic did fine until the third jump, he struggled, so I placed him over it. Then he just zipped through the rest of the course. I was worried about the weave poles, as he'd never done them before, but I have him trained by directions - much like a horse, he knows stop, left, right, and forward - so that helped to guide him through/over the weave poles (the weaves were on another pole which they had to jump& weave at the same time). I ended up with the quickest time of those that weren't DQ'd, his time was 2 minutes, 18 seconds. The girls who went after me, there times were quicker, but they basically did everything for there rabbit - pulling them over, picking them up, etc. The only thing I did, was place him over one jump halfway, he hopped the rest, and then I encouraged him with kisses (clucks with the tongue) and touching his rear; on the large jump, I said "Just like home, bud. Just like home." And he jumped....:biggrin2:

I am SOOO proud of him...unfortunately no photos of that, as I forgot to give the camrea to Karlee (FallingStar).

Anyway, I will upload photos when I'm not so busy, probably on Monday. I've got to get ready for bed now, have to get up at 5:45 in the morning :)
