Well, here in Hampton, we are having snow for the first time this year. Its so pretty outside. We also experienced Thunder Snow. I have never experienced this before. It scared my 2 year old daughter and all the animals. Olivia started thumping the floor before the thunder was heard. I guess its true that animals know when something is going to happen before humans do. She did not like it at all. I saw the lightning, Olivia started thumping, and then the LOUD thunder (all while olivia was thumping her feet) It shook our whole house.

I've experienced that once before.. along with hail/sleet and high winds. Best part was the thunderhead RIGHT over my apartment and the loud boom that woke me at 2am and the following power outage. Stay safe and warm!

We were having around 30 mile an hour wind gusts and it feels like its in the teens as far as temperature goes. The snow is slowing down now. We are having a little bit of sleet, but they're saying it will all be gone by morning. This winter has been crazy here. We have been having 70 degree days and then 30 the next day...so many people have been getting sick with this crazy weather. I wish Mother Nature would make up her mind :X

Having the same type of weather here in New Jersey. We got lucky, no thunder just lots of wind. Hope all is well.

Totally agree, bunnies know. Mine are a bit active now. They don't like these gusts of wind which makes things crash around outside.

Agree again, wish Mother Nature would make up her mind. But I think she's going to keep us guessing this year. With the Hurricane and the Earthquake we experienced here, I don't know what's going to happen with the Weather. Day by Day I guess.

K :)

Yea we got the hurricane and the earthquake too. That earthquake was scary. The hurricane wasn't bad for us. I know New Jersey got it pretty bad. We just got lots of rain and wind. We prepared to get hit hard wot the hurricane. But, we didn't even lose power lol

Shhhhh don't mention the earthquake I'm still on edge 100 aftershocks later  We had what my husband and I have decided should be called snow pelts. This is only the 2nd time we have I've seen anything like it, its between sleet and hail :? more like a hail storm in winter very odd and painful if you get caught outside in it.

Chicago got only a couple of inches of snow Friday, but Fri-Sat the SW corner of Michigan got 20", due to lake effect snow of Lake Michigan.
