It's been quite awhile since I've given you guys an update, and even longer since I've posted any pictures... and today, I've got both for you! :p

As of now, the bunnies are all doing well! Even Belle who has had so many problems with her teeth in the past. She's eating a variety of greens, so I think that might be doing the trick.

Some of you might remember that I had taken in a foster? Bailey was my friend's rabbit, and when she got pregnant, she asked my to take Bailey for a few months. Well, Bailey ended up becoming a permanent part of our family, and it took me over a year to bond her with Belle and Necro. Belle didn't seem to mind her, but Necro wasn't having it. Now they're the best of friends. :) As promised, I have pictures!

I hope you guys enjoy the pictures :)

Unfortunately, I won't be able to update a lot, but every so often I hope to get on here and post some pictures and tell you guys how everything is going. :)

Aw, They are adorable. Love the pictures of them galloping through the grass :hearts: I don't think my guy ever runs like that he takes a much slower pace lol

Yay!! You know how much I love your bunnies.

Thanks guys! :) The bunnies definitely do enjoy their run time outside. I totally wish I could say that I took these pictures, bu that would make me a liar. An old friend of mine took these for me actually. She has a really cool, really expensive camera and thought the bunnies would be fun to take pictures of, and of course she was right. Unfortunately, the bunnies aren't getting a lot of outdoor time right now- we moved, temporarily, to a neighborhood that's not very safe for people and animals alike and we've all been kind of stuck inside. They get plenty of run-time inside though.
My boyfriend just recently bought me a new camera, and I've take a ton of bunny pictures, so hopefully I can get them on here to show everyone. Between school, work, and homework, it'll be tough to come on here often, but I suppose that's what weekends are for. :p

They are gorgeous bunnies! And it's amazing what a good quality (and expensive!) camera can do! Every time I try to take a photo of Charlie running, jumping or even scratching his ear with his foot it all comes out blurry on my camera. :pssd:

Again, it's been awhile. :(
I find that I have no time for myself at all. I've started working, and going to school, so finding time get on the computer is tough.

The bunnies are well. Belle started having trouble with her teeth again, but she pulled herself out of it! I'm not sure what did it, but something she ate ground the points on her molars... I'm thinking it was either celery or spinach. I have new pictures, but no computer to upload them too at the moment, as mine has died. :(

I'll try to upload them soon though! :)

Chandra, it's good to see you again. I hope you are getting some well-deserved rest when you can. I hope Belle's teeth issues get resolved so youwon't have to worry about that.Stay safe out there.Thank you for sharing the lovely pictures!

I think I owe this forum an update, as it's been a while.

I've been finding it hard to come on RO- not because I'm busy but because I've been having a hard time since the passing of Necro and Belle... and my dad. Yes- 3 deaths for this year: Necro passed in March, my father passed very suddenly in April, and Belle passed away in July. The grief is overwhelming, and I'm going through it alone; everyone else seems to have moved on, except me.

My apartment was broken into twice this year as well, and everything of value was stolen, of course. I'm thankful, however, that whoever broke in left the rabbits- and my disabled mother who slept through the first break-in- alone. Unfortunately, we're stuck here until the lease ends, but for the meantime, I bought a paintball gun...

Now, I'm not sure if I mentioned this in another post on the forum months ago, but I did get another rabbit- actually a few weeks before Belle died. I saw an ad on craigslist, and I decided to adopt the mini-lop who needed a new home. It's a good thing I did...

Not only did I have to grieve over Necro and Belle, but so did Bailey. All three were bonded, and she lost both of her friends within a few months of each other. It was hard to see her go through that- she didn't want to play, she completely ignored me and did nothing but lay around all the time. I gave her a few months, and tried bonding her to the newest addition, whom we've named Harley Odin. She wasn't exactly interested, but she seemed more alert and alive than she had been, so that gave me hope. It's taken them about five months, but they're almost bonded... I hope! They play well together outside of the cage, but when housed together, both of them get very territorial and end up getting upset with each other. I'm determined though.

It's been a busy year, what with all of that, and more (so much more!) going on, so I don't have any new pictures of Bailey or Harley uploaded to my computer at the moment. I can't promise that I'll get them on here either because depression is a horrible monster that steals my will to do anything, but I'll try!

Here's hoping for a better 2012, huh?

I'm so, so very sorry to hear about your father and rabbits. I can't even imagine what you're going through. *hugs* I hope 2012 brings more happiness for you.

We're so sorry for your losses. I'd suggest getting a Nanny Cam that will record who comes in the front or where ever the egress that was used to break in. Statistically it usually turns out to be someone you know or that has been inside your place. Our daughter got robbed and they trashed everything that didn't get stolen and even took her bunny. I told her to check the shelters and she found her boy and showed them a picture of her ex bf that she broke up with--bingo, and the cops paid him a visit and he's now in the employ of the state.

I actually purchased one of those hidden spy cams, and unfortunately that got stolen right off my porch, but I'm fairly certain I know who broke in though- I just have no proof. I'm sorry that happened to your daughter- and I'm glad she was able to get her bunny back.
I don't know how people feel justified in doing things like that to other people. It really just....:soapbox

Oh Chandra, I'm so sorry for all of your losses. Not a good year for you.

Lets hope and pray that 2012 will be much happier for all of you.

Great Big Hugs and Bunny Kisses going your way.

Susan:hug:

I know what it feels like to have rabbits die.
For the break-in. Just think, objects you can't take to Heaven. But rabbits, dogs and all animate objects will love you and stay in your heart forever.
