Thanks for this, we dont get snow in my area but it does rain and get very cold.

Rocky's hutch is under my pergola but when I get another bunny they may have to go outside so these are great tips

My friend Wendy who lives near Sidney was saying just a few hours ago how chilly and wet it is there at present when they were really expecting hot weather. She normally trims the fur on her very fluffy bun for the summer months to keep him cool but she hasn't done it yet in case he's too cold.

The seasons are in a bit of a stir, really, aren't they?

Thanks for the info! I have mine in the horse barn, in a stall. I added plastic around it, to block out any drafts. Then I put old horse blankets on top of their cages, lots of straw and hay inside for them. So far, with the heat from the horses, the water bottles haven't frozen. I do open the stall door during the day, to let air in. And clean under the cages every day. I can't wait for summer!!
