I usually have a baby gate up all the time between my kitchen and the living room. It keeps my son OUT of the kitchen and my bun IN the kitchen. Last night I was really tired and was so sick of stepping over that gate, I took it down. I didn't even think about it this morning when I let my bun out. My son went back to sleep, I did my normal morning feeding and let the bun out. I laid down on the couch and closed my eyes. I felt something jump up on the couch, so I thought it was my cat Cali. (I was half asleep, so not thinking correctly) I said hey to Cali, reached my hand out and felt her. I was like 'oh Cal, you're so soft today.' Then "Cali" moved and turned around. I was like 'Cali, you're ears are so big!' Then I opened one eye because what I told myself about ears wasn't right! I was face to face with my rabbit! She hopped up on the couch with me and I thought she was the cat! I laughed so hard at myself for being completely crazy. Bun just looked at me like I was completely crazy. So I loved on her for a minute and then put her back in the kitchen. She hopped away from me and looked back as if to say 'That's what you get for trying to close your eyes at 7am mom!'

I just had to share that with everyone. I laughed so hard at myself.

Oh how sweet. I love it when I'm just hanging out and the buns jump on my lap or nose bonk me when I'm in bed.

You know you are loved when they come for attention voluntarily :inlove:

I know, I love when she comes up to me for some love! It warms my heart.

@Brandy, how is your bunny, Becky? I remembered reading the post on the infirmary and when you commented on this I thought about her. I hope she's better!
