We may be fostering this bun. Not sure what breed she is. She weighs 10 pounds. From my research I'm leaning towards a Vienna Blue, American or mix with a Flemish...Any ideas??

ahah! Maybe then she might be? although they aren't quite popular rabbits or at least in the south they arent

This rabbit does look like a Lilac, but it could be a Blue Beveren, esp. if the fur is 1 1/4 to 1 1/2" long, and it does weigh 10#. Blue Beverens are a bit heavier and have a longer fur than the Lilacs.

She could also be a mix in reality, but actually fit the description of apure bred rabbit. :)

Best of luck with her!

We picked her up this morning and she is beautiful and such a sweet girl! She is exploring her new home now and playing with her little plastic slinky. She is a big girl too! We stopped at the pet store on the way home from picking her up and she went shopping with us, cuddled up inside my husband's vest...she was so relaxed!
Not sure if we are going to let this one go!!!

lol.
I thought beveren too but its not a blue. From the pictures it has that pink reflective coat which is noted from a lilac color?

She looks very lilac. Lilac is the dilute form of the chocolate (brown) color in rabbits. Chocolate is recessive to black and dilute is recessive to full color, so generally does not come from blues.

Vienna Blues are essentially gone from USA. American Blues are much darker.

I think it is a lilac rabbit, maybe even a purebred.

Have a good day!

Hi you rabbit is a pure bred Chocolate beveren it may not look as dark as a chocolate because its fur got faded in the sun, serten colors of rabbit can fad in the sun if do not have protection from the sun in the summer, in the past when I was in 4h I seen a lot of chocolate dutch rabbit who where disquifed for color because of there fur color. Your rabbit is not a lilac because beacause Lilacs can not weigh 10lbs and never are that color I seen l have seen lilac at show and they were never a brownish color like that. I raise chocolate, bew whites, blue, black Beverens. Beveren are a very Rare breed of rabbit they are sadly going extinct and I am hopeing to save them from extinction.

thank you Sekia:lookaround
