Hey everyone! I know I haven't been on much lately but I really just need to talk to someone.

It was my birthday this past week so today I am having a informal birthday party. We are going to a corn maze and then coming back and decorating cakes.
I invited seven people. Three were for sure coming, the rest were letting me know tomorrow.

Well one told me yesterday they couldn't come. I never heard from the other three. Finally i text them this morning. One forgot and the other two I have had no reply. Then I get a text from two of the people that were for sure coming saying that stuff came up and they can't come.

So only one person is coming.

Last year this happened too. I planned a party and then the only two people that could come were my brothers too friends, so I rescheduled it for the next week, again like one person could come. I just canceled it and it never happened.

I'm just upset and I needed someone to talk to.

I would enjoy your day with the one friend that can come. It sounds like you'll have a great time, and the cake decorating sounds like a lot of fun.

We went to Olive Garden instead. My brother's friend (my friend too) came with us when we went to Olive Garden. Then we came home and decorated the two cakes. It was fun.

I found my birthdays i prefer to spend alone, a couple close friends that will stop at nothing to make sure they come(More like family than friends) come and we just hang out and party all to our selves. I don't bother planning a big party thing, too many people have let me down as well.
Enjoy your big day! Birthdays can be very fun in smaller groups

I'm sorry so many of your friends couldn't make it. I had a party like that one year. There was really bad traffic so not only was I late to my own party, only like 3 other kids showed up and we'd been expecting 15-20.
I'm glad you got to have fun with the friend that did come!

Maybe you should have invited your bunny-loving friends... Like Naturestee and myself!!! I've never been to a corn maze and I know that Naturestee would have fun trying to get my lost!!! Ooooo ... cake decorating.... MMMmmmmm ... can't say enough good about it, especially if it is followed by squishing on Louie....
