first of all i would like to ask, when can thekits leave their nest completely? When can i take them outside to runaround etc ( i know they are a bit young at the moment) and when canthey start nibbling on hay etc? Why do they love to continuosly lick myhand? And here are some pics....11days old!

WOW - thanks for all that information Lanna. Iwas wondering about the hay because i thought i saw one of them eatingsome yesterday and i didnt realise they did so that young. The kitsalready get in and out of the nest easily lol. My dad raised thecardboard which holds them in their nest (they dont have an actual nestbox) and they made a tunnel underneath it! lol! i'm not sure the mumwas best pleased when they were chasing her around the hutch!!! butthen she went and fed them and all was ok! the weather is very coldhere at the moment and my rabbits usually live outdoors but Roxy wasbought in through pregnancy - i just wasnt sure when to put her backout or run around - i will probably leave it for a while yet. I love itwhen they lick my hand - its soooo sweet - yet they are so SWEET!!! andi may be keeping 1!! we'll have to wait and see. Its soo fun to watchthem grow. Leanne

lol! I cant wait to find out what they arefinally going to turn out like - will they have russels soft fur? OrRoxys beautiful mane? Who knows!!! at the moment their fur is reallysoft - not as soft as russels but much softer than roxys - lol. couldit just be baby fur? i hope not! i like the feel of them! Leanne
