Here are my kits. They are all a week old today. I have a question again .... :D

Is there such thing as mommyover-fed her babbies?? Because this afternoon when I got back home, the shoe box where I placed the babies was toppled over. Two of the babies had really round tummies while the other two was under the box sleeping. Is there anything I have to do?

OMG! they are so cute! That one that is sparkly ... I wonder if it's like an opal or something (I don't know colors or anything like that but it just stood out to me!) and then the little dark one....... that nose....... :inlove:

Well, I don't know what your theme might be but you could try something like a cowboy theme:

  • Lasso
  • Lariat
  • Concho
  • Bronco
  • Rodeo
  • Wrangler
  • Maverick
  • Dude
  • Boots
  • Rancher
  • Tex
  • Annie (Oakley)
  • Buck
  • Dodge
  • Tassel
  • Pistol

Hmm ... I didnt think of a theme but ... I like the name Buck, Rodeo, Tex and Lasso.

N I think I have two males and two females. Becos I have always notice that two out of the four are always the most hyper and also always have the biggest ping pong tummy after nursing from mommy. Haha ... does it make any sense? So males could be Buck and Rodeo while the females could be Lasso and Tex. :D

They are SO adorable! The mom usually won't over-feed the babies, you just want to make sure they all get fed at every opportunity. You might want to find some way to tie the box to the side of the cage to keep it stable, so it won't topple over. Momma might be doing that hopping in and out. You want to try and keep the babies together, so no one misses a feeding or falls out and gets stuck away from the others.

Yea .... I have already done so. I tied it to the cage. I think the box could be too small for her to hop in. I saw mommy trying to pull the box over. Its like as if she wants to take out her babies to feed. So I carried them out n put them around her and then watch. N she fed them. She stayed still while the babies were below her. Then about 3 mins later she hopped away and I put the kits back into the box. Of course i checked their tummies. They were all round and full. Amazing. So I guess ... I am going to resize the box again. Hmmm ...
