I think he is a SHE.

I didn't even THINK of looking because when the guy picked up the rabbit he checked (not a real check, really a glance)and said "Yep it's this one" and so I was like "la dee da" and took it. Then I went to my sister's, did stuff there, and when we got back in the car around 10 I decided to have a look. It wasn't very promising.

I COULD be wrong. It's very possible. I'm going to have my roommate help me tomorrow and take a picture, and see what you guys think.

Which means if it IS a girl... Well GD it. There's a reason I wanted a BOY. I've never bonded rabbits, and now my first pair will be girl/girl... So much harder. And spays are so much more expensive around here. Neuters are not at all. Which was great. I was so mad at myself. How dumb. Why why why wouldn't I have looked?

All that said, the rabbit is nice. It was scared and skittish when the guy picked it up, but after we rode in the car it seemed more relaxed and it calmed down. I hate calling it an it, we're going to say "she" from now on. Isat with her on the deck at my sister's, and she hopped around and explored, and didn't seem frightened then. She rode in my lap all the way home, too, stretched out and liking the attention. :) I think she'll easily be as tame and friendly as MJ very soon.

Here are a few pics!

Ho hum. What pickles I get myself into.

It looks like a male to me! I know it sounds stupid but in my head boy rabbits look like boys and girl rabbits look like girls!

Adorable either way... It could be worse... If she's got a good personality then that's the main thing- that and she's very cute.

At the vet's tomorrow I'll have THEM look, and see what they say, besides posting a photo on here.

If it is a girl, her name will be Billie Jean. (Becca should be delighted, haha!) We were listening to a Michael Jackson CD in the car after I started to have doubts as to what the bunny was and I said "If she's a girl, I'll tell her that her name is Billie Jean" and right after that the lyric "She told me her name was Billie Jean". Sign? Yes. But if it is a boy, which I really kind of need it to be, then he'll be Breakfast.

Either way, the rabbit is not going anywhere. Even if she and Mary Jane don't bond and I have to get two boy bunns for them. *cough* Hey maybe it would be nice if it was a girl! LMAO

*I* think that the bunny does have a rather feminine look to her... But I also thought MJ was a boy until I looked!

I could be all kinds of wrong, LMAO. I just looked again and it's still looking like a girl.

I think she does have a more feminine look than Tony does. But look at it this way- maybe you can still bond them and throw a male in the mix to calm them down.

Huh, does that work? Two females and a male? I'll have to go looking around the forum and see.

One of my friends on my rat forum said she'd ask her vet how much they'd charge to spay. We're thinking it's not a lot because they do rat spays at a really decent price. She's only about 3 hours away. This is just me thinking out loud, but if it's worth it, I'd probably stay down there a few days and get them spayed around the same time.

I know someone on here has 2 females who were already bonded and added a male later. I forget who it is though... Hm.... will have to think.

Aww adorable bunny! Why do you get the cutest bunnies? How old is she/he? And where did you get the name Breakfast? Billie Jean sure is cute :D

I'm looking in the Library section and having not a lot of luck, but then again I'm still lookin'. :)

Shiloh, I got Breakfast from a scene in my favorite movie, "Knocked Up". "So he came over for breakfast because he's your new boyfriend?" "Yeah. He came from his house. Drove over to our house because he thought it would be fun to have breakfast with us, so he drove his car from his house to our house to have breakfast." "Because he likes breakfast so much." "I love breakfast!"

It was just this hilariously awkward scene surrounding breakfast. And I'm always quoting "I love breakfast!" just sort of randomly.

I was told she/he/it was 7 weeks, but I think (though I have no clue) that it may be a bit more than that... I dunno, maybe that's really how old it is and I am just not prepared for the "giant" part of Flemish Giant. :p

Lol what a gender crisis! But she/he sure is cute! :D

Hehe I like the name Breakfast. I don't think it's usually tooo hard to bond females. Good luck with it!

Now I just had a horrible thought cross my mind! Since the two rabbits' bits look the same, what if this rabbit IS a boy... And so is Mary Jane?! Noooo! Surely if she was a boy she'd have dropped by now and it would be fairly obvious? Right?

Why can't bunnies be like rats. Huge goolies or nothing, easy peasy.

I am an even bigger idiot!

I did it again. Then I did Mary Jane. And then the new rabbit again.

It's a penis!!!!!!!! YAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! And Mary Jane's is NOT!

Let's see if it's the same in the morning. :p

Eeep!! I am in loove with the accident pic! Soo cute! And what an adorable bunny boy or girl!
