The storms in AZ right now...

....stinkin' crazy weird. It has been misty all day, the sky is moving super fast, rain, thunder, lighting. Most likely nothing compaired to the hurricane, but this is weird weather for us. It is eery outside.

Down in the PHX area they had power lines ripped down by the wind, trees uprooted, ect. Normally PHX never gets rain!

The monsoon's were sooo quiet for a long while, too.

Amy, I was looking at the US radar earlier and saw the rain there..... I thought it was so strange! I didn't think you got much rain but you do have a small season of it don't you?

Yeah, our rainy/storm season is call "the monsoons". We had rain for a week on, then a week off, then at random times. Up here in the Northern part we haven't had much thunder and lighting, if we did...it was a small storm and didn't last long at all...but nothing crazy. Usually here we have scattered rain/storms...you can see them coming from miles and miles away.

Wow We get a lot of storms randomly really. We even get thunder and lightning in the winter.
