Today I dumped the last remaining indoor plants into the compost bin. I did it again: managed to kill everything living green in the house:rip:
All that's left is the trays with grass and herbs on the kitchen window sill (I never forget those) I just don't get it. I never forget to look after my kids or my bunnies and I love plants. How come i always forget to water my plants and only notice them wilting when it's too late. It's beginning to depress me and I bought a cold frame today to grow bunny herbs and greens in the garden. Will they suvive?

I love plants, but the only indoor ones I can keep alive are the ones in my aquarium, LOL! I don't have to remember to water those.:D

Maybe leave a big note where you can see it to check your plants?

I can relate. I have the worst luck with houseplants. A friend gave me a Lucky Bamboo for Christmas and by some miracle it is still among the living.

I used to have lucky bamboo until it's luck ran out.Lol. I sometimes feel so guilty that i plant them out into the garden if they start looking sad. It obviously doesn't help but then I can say the weather finished them off... I know I'm sad:(

Don't worry....I have a degree in Ornamental Horticulture, and my houseplants are in a sad, sad state. I used to have a lot of them, and they were fabulous. But now I live in an apartment where the only well-lit window is where the bunny pen is. I've got a few indoor plants that are trying to struggle through the winter, but they're stashed on a shelf where they get little to no light.

Even when I worked at a greenhouse, my plants at home suffered.

I do much better in the summer with potted herbs on my deck, though. (My downstairs neighbors get really irritated with me when I water them, which could be as frequent as every day when it is really hot. Oh no, water! On their outdoor space! I always wonder how upset they must get when it *gasp* rains!)

I am glad to hear i am not the only one:)Maybe I should just acknowledge that indoor plants just don't work for me and stick with my outdoor garden...
