Has anyone seen the road running in front of my house? It seems to have disappeared under the snow. Level 3 emergency and blizzard warning. I can't wit to get to Fiji.

Ouch! There's a road??? LOL - Stay safe out there and please don't go out unless absolutely necessary...

It's about to get real nasty here as well and I was stupid enough not to be prepared for it. :baghead

Ditto here! Our road seems to be missing too...

Some of the drifts are as high as 14 inches!! I'm in the Beavercreek, OH area this weekend, trying to get some house building contracts signed; needless to say, the office has been closed due to weather for the past two days! :p

I knew I could count on you, Ann, to post some good Ohio blizzard pics! ;)

Oh gosh, the snow appears to be everywhere! Seems like winter wanted to get it's reputation back, and picked this season to do so. :)

Usually what happens here during the winter season is that we get light snowfall throughout the winter months, with one or two major snowstorms thrown in. And in-between these times we get periods of bitter cold, along with days of mild warmth and semi-thaws. This year however, we've had no thaws - save for one that came after our first major snowstorm a while back. So all of the cold white stuff has been accumulating...and accumulating...and accumulating.

Last week - on Wednesday, to be exact - we were hit with a pretty major snowfall of 29 cm. The dj's on the radio had dubbed the storm 'The HumpDump' given the day it fell, and city cleanup crews worked frantically to plough the roads and remove excess piles. Even so, the sidewalks and side streets were still a mess, right through to last night.

This morning I woke up to find we'd been hit with another 19 cm of snow, and...yes...we are getting hit again this afternoon. They're predicting another 25-30 cm to fall. (Radio dj's have dubbed this next storm 'Big Juicy, a descriptive they got from a weatherman on tv'.) Once this one is finished, I have no idea how they're going to go about cleaning up; there's simply no more room for snow! I'm starting to think I should pile it all up against the side of my house and then advertise that I have a ski resort. Maybe I'd score a nice little profit from the Big Juicy. ;)

And to think that a few years ago here, the golf courses had opened and were running their first day of business on March the 8th. I'm beginning to wonder if I'll be wearing a snowsuit when I get ready to plant my garden this spring. :?

Well just remember blame Missouri (Leaf). It is their fault for giving us all that darned snow. Yuck.

we can get up to 9 inches but thank God cause I do not want 2 feet. Last time we had a blizzard was March of 93. lol we had 2 ft of snow and pgh still had the st. paddy's day parade too.

OMG this is the worst storm we have had in years. Not only did we get buried in snow, it's freezing rain right now, and blowing so hard you cannot hold yourself up. You can't see your hand in front of your face. and I have to go back out to do my chores again :(All the critters are staying inside. It's just awful. I'm waiting for our power to go out - it likely will any minute now. I hope everyone in the midst of it, is safe & sound.

So if March came in like a lion, it's suppose to go out like a lamb right?

And just what does Yofi think of his winter wonderland? Lol.

Wow! We barely got any snow here. Just one snow day this year too and we usually have two thru four. Plus several inches, the most we got this winter was like 2 inches.

I would like 2 feet of snow. No blizzard though because then me and my sis wouldn't be able to get to the bunnies shed and take care of them. Just warn me first so I can get more rabbit food and a heater for out there! Lol. jk.:biggrin2:
