How do you teach a bun to pose?
When do you start teaching them?
How long does it usually take before they get it?
Do different breeds pose in different ways?
Pictures on Lionhead training?

I start as young as possible. I try with my 2 week olds, but they're a pain. And I've found out I still have older rabbits that refuse to pose.

Different rabbits pose differently. Can't help with the lionheads. But theres other people who can.

I wouldn't call it teaching, I'd rather call it training. ;) I start training them to pose as soon as they are about 3 to 4 weeks old. You simply just get them used to sitting in the pose for that breed, and if you work with them on it a lot, they will have it down in no time. Some rabbits simply refuse to pose, no matter how much you work with them.

It's best to start posing when they are young so they understand how they're supposed to sit, and so they don't develop bad habits such as leaning, pushing against your hand, slumping to the table (for the upright breeds), etc. Some breeds are called running breeds, and I do believe that they are judged on how they run across the table, rather than being in a breed pose. Don't hold me to that though, lol.

Different breeds do pose different ways. I suggest getting an ARBA Standard of Perfection, and looking through it so you can understand not just the standards & points of each breed, but how they pose, and what groups the certain breeds fall into - Compact, Cylindrical, Commercial, Full-Arch & Semi-Arch. These groups help determine how a breed is posed.

Lionheads, I'm not sure how they are posed.

Breeding/conformation lend significantly to proper posing. Great rabbits pose on their own with little "training", but should be handled often so they are comfortable on the show table.
