I woke up around 2:30am and looked out the bedroom window. At first I was disappointed, not so much snow. Now, at 5:00am we have close to 5" with no end in sight.

I ran to Wal Mart to buy groceries (and a few DVDs) but I have no idea how this storm will ride out.

Bleh!

Leaf I've been wondering about you since the storm is coming from your way. Is it snow then? or did you get ice? It's snowing pretty good here - they expect my area could get up to 17 inches of snow by tomorrow.

Wow, sure hope the storm is weaking and not getting stronger!

In my part of we are only expected to get 6 to 10 inches and have about an inch and half as of now. It's tomorrows forecast that is a bit scary. I can handle snow but when they add wind. Ouch!

It's pretty nasty here - we're getting the ice now and we're going to have high winds and such.

Hubby works as a heavy equipment mechanic and his company also plows for a city about an hour from us...... he has to go there in the morning. It's pretty close to his parents' house so that's at least something good. He also knows a lot of people there. It's double time pay so that's great..... just worries me that he is out there and something happen here..... our generator is in the barn down the road and one on his truck..... he'll have with him LOL!

Well, we got about 11" yesterday. I got everything cleared off but I dont know why I bothered. I woke up just a little bit ago and I'm assuming the new blanket is at least another 5". Our totals are very suprising right now.

I havent turned the TV on to see what the news is saying, but I will in a little bit. I really have no idea if I'll be able to get in to work on Sunday night.

Good to see you Leaf. I've been wondering about you. We have had snow, ice, rain that froze, more snow and it's really coming down now.

Hubby had to get up at 4 and leave to work at 5. He got me up at 4:30 (I told him to) so I could make him a big thermos of hot chocolate. We aren't coffee people here at all!

We brought the old dog in late last night. She doesn't like being inside - until it's like this. She came in and snorted her approval - went in the laundry room and found her clean blankie - which she promptly rooted in and pushed around - then went to get some dirty clothes out to make a bed. :foreheadsmack:She's such a goober!
