I think I may have steel babies but I am not 100% sure and I can't get the difference to show up well in pictures (yet). So I will describe what I'm seeing.

Litter #1 is Athena/Mercury's litter and this is a light grey to light grey breeding. The babies are light grey looking BUT they have sort of a brown on their back - it is hard to explain but it isn't just straight grey.

Litter #2 is from Sophia/Hermes and it is light grey/white breeding with dad carrying steel in his background. This litter is also light grey - BUT - there is no brown on the back at all. The whole color is a grey color - perhaps a tad bit darker than the other litter (it almost looks like minor differences in shades of grey in this litter - versus grey/brown together).

Does that sound like I have steel babies?
