Have you noticed all the crazy stuff that happened to Pennie lately? She appears to be normal for thelast week or so because she she sent the Bo B Bunny curse across state lines to Ohio. Should I be honored or horrified to share the curse?

Let's see... start with the truck, check engine light is on, smoke test, solonoid, etc = $$$$$, then there is the car - $300+ to fix the air conditioning in May. 3 uses and there is luke warm air on the driver's side and cold air on the passenger side  It's in the shop today and I see the $$$ adding up.

Drop off Neko at vet's on Tuesday early for more stomatitis surgery/lasering. Come home, start feeling bad about 10 Am and crawl into bed in a near coma. Wake up briefly at 12:30 to fetch repaired truck from garage. Fall back into bed. Vet call at 2:45 and is leaving a long message. I can't figure out how to answer the phone. Duh! Which button do I press? I am too sick and dazed to know.

Finally figure out how to answer my own dang phone and vet says he couldn't get to surgery as he got jammed by 2 emergency surgeries. I'm ok w/ that. He will keep Neko 'til Thursday and do the surgery.

I pass out again and crack an eye open around 6:30. Greg wonders if i am dead and should he do my chores. Yeah, ok. He doesn't do the bunnies so I have to come to around 8:00 and take care of bunnies. They want attention as do 15 cats (minus Neko) and i can't give it.

Yesterday, still sick but drop the car off. Crawl back in bed for more ours of crazy dreams, high fever, drooling, etc.

Today - no calls from the mechanic so he is probably deconstructing my car.$$$$$ The vet calls, Neko is in surgery having the rest of her molars and pre-molars removed. They have a dandy new antibiotic shot that lasts for 2 weeks. Do i want that instead of pills. Yes please since she is feral and a tad difficult to pill. New shot costs $50 which is why they called. What does it matter when I expect the bill will be $400. If I had a first born, I would sell him or her... Would anyone like to buy a used husband who knows how to cook?

I have to fetch the cat. Let me see if I can find some poison ivy to roll in while I'm at it.

I forgot jury duty - was supposed to go all this week. Called the bailif and did not need to report on Monday, call back Tuesday PM. I call Tuesday and ask what happens if I'm sick. The bailif is very nice and expects the civil cases to be settled out of court. Calls be back at 5:00 and says I lucked out, no jury duty. Yea! One good thing all week.

Turns out one of the Vacation Bible School kids in my group had strep throat and several of us adults picked it up. That's what I've got.

All this is Pennie's fault! Take your curse back! I will be forsed to pass it along to another innocent RO member.... Hold up your hand if you want a curse.

I am feeling better today after doses of antibiotic. I should just have my retirement check direct deposited at the vet's. The bill was only $306. I expected $400 to $450.

:shock2:I didn't do it on purpose!

Lexi had a fever the other day too...... I threw my back out yesterday when we loaded the hay, shavings, and pigs! So don't do any lifting!

I went out to check the horses' lot for bad fence the other day....... I have poison ivy again, it's hot out and we have to wear our boots at the fairgrounds to work with the horses..... Oh yeah......

I wish I could find that danged pot of gold or something..... I'd share that!

Poison ivy again? You poor thing! I am very sorry to hear that. We have an abundance of wild strawberries this year and I've noticed the poison ivy likes to grow near that.I bought this Ivy Block lotion atWalgreen's to use before gardening that keeps the poison ivy from getting on you. It works but it was pricey. http://www.ivyblock.com/ There is a coupon on the web site. The blog has gruesome pic's of poison ivy victims.
