Just wanted to let you know that today and tomorrow will be our funeral home days, with the funeral service tomorrow morning at 10 am.

We will see many friends and family. It will be a time of celebration* and saying "goodbye". For those who pray and those who will be thinking of us, strength is my number one request. These days will be very physically demanding, and I get absolutely, physically, fatigued in emotionally draining situations.

Second request would be for peaceful sleep tonight and a lightness in my soul tomorrow morning.

Also, I am reading a poem at the funeral tomorrow, so if you will pray for composure and dry eyes, I'd appreciate it!

Thanks so much to our RO family for your love, ((hugs)), andwords of support.

*Grandma is in heaven. Wehave the peace and assurance that comes from God, because weknow she gave her hearttoHim, and He says, "Those thatbelong to Mewill never be snatched out ofMy hand." (John 10) We know...without a doubt, that we willbe reunited one day! We will be praisingGod, and celebratingthat beautiful gift.

Best wishes for all your requests to come true - I read a poem at my grandma's funeral (back in 1986 but it feels like yesterday) and it went well... I know she was smiling down on me at that moment.

Hi RO family,

The service was beautiful today. It was so uplifting to see how many hearts and lives Grandma touched. The same themes kept coming up again and again, that she was so loving and kind to everyone she met, she served other people so joyfully, and she was a remarkable, lovely woman. I have been told many times that I look like her, and her sister, Aunt Dottie. Icount myself honored if people see any of her character qualities in me, as well.

I did well with the poem reading today. Cried after, but that's okay-we got through it!

I was pretty tired today, when all was said and done. We drove home (2 hours) after the funeral dinner, and I slept the whole way. We unloaded the car and I slept again until supper.

:thanks: I could tellmany, many peoplewere praying andsending good thoughts my way!
