A few of you may have noticed that I may show up online, but I never post anymore.
A couple of weeks ago I let the powers that be know, that I would not be interacting with anyone anymore due to a few things.
The person I had clashed with and myself had a deep heart to heart and I have a newfound love and respect for her..
The overwhelming emails I have gotten in the last couple of days with you people telling me you missed me has disapproved, in my mind at least, alot of what was said to me by others, which led to my MIA status.
I have learned.. not to believe what people say, definitely do not believe it if it was said out of anger.. and most of all.. to think for yourself and not let things people say to wound you affect your decision making process.
So for that.. thanks guys..
I still won't be on that much anymore. As some of you know I have a new-ish (as in the last 2 months) job with Nat Geo..or National Geographic.. and apparently my translating skills are needed elsewhere..so I will check in from time to time.
I will leave you all with a bit of a funny.. which is really only funny if you've ever shown in FFA or 4-H.
My son was conversing with some of the soccer team, and they were going on and on about how well they did at a recent tourney.
My son.. unimpressed.. said *so where's yer belt buckle?*
He was told the whole team got one trophy.. *To share?* he inquired?
*Yes* he was told..
His retort was *well.. that's a rip.. unless you got a belt buckle, a banner or a hefty cash prize.. you really didn't win*
Totally WRONG... but the 4-H/FFA Mentality cracked me the heck up..
Needless to say.. the soccer kids were all interested in getting belt buckles of their own..

I am glad you are not leaving entirely as that would really suck. I hope that all is going well for you guys. LOL @ your son :biggrin2:The image of soccer kids with belt buckles is just hilarious
