Somequestions, a rabbit could live only eating green lettuce and carrots?

A slice of integral bread could be useful once a week for a rabbit?

In case of a rabbit very weak for a past illness what i can give him to increase his health and force?

1. no, they need hay! lots and lots of hay. Pellets are also good, and veggies but check on them, there is a list on the rabbit society webpage. carrots are not that great, you should only feed them as a treat, very little and not often (too sweet), and dont overdo the lettuce either
2.bread is no good either, sweet and too many carbs. Stick to hay
3.weak rabbit-> check vet =D

Romaine & leaf lettuce are wonderful rabbit food. Iceberg lettuce is not. Another good green is wheat grass. Just plant some wheat & cut off 3" when it gets 4" tall.

But hay & pellets should as much a part of the diet as greens are.

Most important part of their diet should be unlimited hay, followed by fresh greens and limited pellets. Carrots should be considered a treat only, just like fruit. A rabbit should receive only about 1inch slice of carrot or equivalent of fruit per day.

A healthy diet is the best thing to help a rabbit recuperate.
