Unfortunately vets in my country have little to none knowledge and experience when it comes to treat rabbits. I have 5 year old rabbit, name Puffy and lately I have noticed that he has teeth problem, i have attached the picture. I have taken him to the Vet right away and he trimmed he’s grown long tooth, however he was able to tell me why it is black and this worries me very much. If anyone knows anything about this i would appreciate this very much...
many thanks

Oh dear, I have no idea what would cause black teeth... Anything that bun could have gotten in to that would have stained them or something?

Teeth can get stained by chewing on different things, but that looks more like it may be dental disease. It's possible that there is an infection causing the teeth to turn black. I think I read somewhere that the antibiotic tetracycline can also cause tooth discoloration. Has your rabbit ever been on this antibiotic? Those are the only things that I can think of to explain the black teeth.

If you list your location, it's possible we may be able to help you to find a vet more experienced with rabbits.

many thanks, I think it is not food and Puffy hasn't been taken any antibiotics... I live in Romania Sibiu if anyone knows any good vet even in Bucharest drop me line, please
much appreciated all the comments came through so far.
