So I came home from Dinner and let Tebow out to run around for a bit, and I noticed he had some soft stool and it was really stinky. I am in the process of changing his food, but i'm mixing the new and the old. He had some carrots and a few apple pieces. Still a lot of food in his bowl and i don't see much hay missing. And he's SUPER clingy (running circles around my legs) But i've only had him since Weds. So i'm still learning about his needs (he seems very clingy)
Any thoughts?

PS. I changed from a Kay-tee Product to NatureWise Premium Rabbit Pellets. Because thats all my pet store had.

Having some carrots & apple pieces sounds like too much sugar to me, even for a full-grown rabbit. I would stick to hay & pellets & a little green veggie until his digestion settles down. And if he's a baby, leave the veggies out entirely until he's at least 3 months old.

I was told he was 2 years old. But as i'm finding out this girl I bought him off is a liar. He prob had 2 baby carrots and 4 little pieces of apple cut into small chunks.

Cut out the fruit and carrots for now. If he's acting a little off, then you are going to want to keep a really close eye on him to make sure he continues to poop and eat. For the next couple days, stop all treats, and feed mostly hay and green leafy veggies if he is used to them, and just a little of his old pellets. Once his poops are back to normal, you could try switching him to the new pellets, but more gradually. You may be trying to change over his pellets too quickly. Is this new food just plain pellets without any treat pieces? If they are just plain pellets, then try changing to the new food much more slowly in smaller amounts. I agree, that is a lot of sugars for a rabbit to be getting in one day. You may want to wait til he is better and switched over to the new pellets, before giving treats again. And you may want to cut back on the amounts he's getting, as it seems he is a little sensitive to excess carbs.

So I woke up this morning, and He had pooped A LOT looks normal. only thing is it wasn't in his litter box..lol UGH! This girl I got him off. I think lied out her butt! Everything she said he did like he was litter trained, and fixed all lies. Lesson learned. Never trust a seller. Either way i still love the little fool. But I think he's going to cost me a TON of money before it's all said and done. =)
