So, I decided to give Taz and Ruby their own blogs, not sure why, i just kinda felt like it... :rollseyes
Tasmanian Devil (Taz/Tazzie) is a female lionhead/dutch mix, although she looks nothing like a dutch! She has the smaller, compact body of a lionhead, the mane, the eyes, everything, so I just refer to her as a lionhead
She's a sweet little thing, born on July 21st along with her 3 siblings. We decided to keep her and her sister Pepper from that litter, but unfortunately, Pepper died.
We moved Taz indoors at my mom's house (my parents are divorced) because she had hurt her leg. We aren't sure if it was a break/sprain, etc.
Taz recovered, and now is hopping and binkying fine! :biggrin2: Still, the first few days after we brought her home, she wasn't herself. i personally think she missed Pepper, since the 2 had been together their while lives. She improved, and soon became more happy and energetic, (and mischievous) like she is today!
We plan on moving Tazzie into a big NIC cage we are building, along with her new "sister" bun Ruby! They will be in there with a divider until we can get them spayed and bonded.
Anyway, currently, we are working on getting Taz litterbox trained. She has improved quite a bit since we first started. She still is not fully trained; she's only pooping in the box for now. She'll get there soon :big wink:
Taz loves giving nose bonks and crawling around my feet, and running around. Soon, once she is litter trained, i want to give her more free realm of the house!
So concludes my first entry in Tasmanian Devil's bunny blog!!
