Tattooing

Hello everyone,

I was wondering at about what age should I tattoo the babies (as you all know I raise ELs). Do I tattoo at 8 weeks? Is that the appropriate age? Thanks in advance=)

I will usually tattoo about 8 weeks unless they aren't going to show then i don't worry about them

I find that tattooing them around 8-10 weeks works best for me. Ears are big enough to get in there, but they are young enough to hold securely. You can really do them at any age, whatever works good for you. (I have tattooed marks in their right ear to mark them at 3 days old... and done numbers in their left ear as young as 4 weeks, when there was an unusual need).
