Hey, guys. I've never really had a blog before, so I'll do my best!
Some background info -
My name's Rashel, and some people call me Rae. I've got 3 dogs, a guinea pig, and my very recent new addition, a rabbit.
I've always loved animals, and couldn't imagine my life without them. They make me happier than a lot of things these days.
What else...?
I'm the sort of person who a lot of society considers somewhat anti-social, as I'd rather stay inside with a good book, some music, and my animals.
My pets:
Acheron (AKA: Ash).
Ash is a 2-year-old Holland Lop boy, whom I brought home Saturday. I'd been researching rabbits for 2 years (kind of ironic), and felt like it was time to bring one of the fuzzy little characters home. I got extremely lucky with Ash.
He's an inquisitive little guy, who enjoys pushing his litter-box to the middle of his cage and taunting the guinea pig by sitting outside the cage for a minute before running off, as if saying "Haha, yeah, guess who's free-range, buddy!" His birthday's April 4.
Zorro
Zorro is an older guinea pig, having just reached 5-years-old. He's always been lazier, though he does enjoy the occasional 'race-track run', as my younger brother likes to call it.
His favorite pastime is sitting in his igloo eating lettuce. We don't know his birthday.
Player
Player is a 11-year-old Toy Rat Terrier that the family got when I was still in elementary school. His birthday was today (Valentine's Day). I like to call him Mickey, due to the mickey-mouse looking spots on his side... I'll have to see if I can get a good picture of them.
Poor boy's turning gray. He's far from photogenic, and is grouchy in his old age. We still love him, though.
Pepper
Pepper is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. She's a lab/chow mix, and is approx. 5 years old.
She's a cuddler, and just doesn't understand why we don't want 50-lbs. laying on our stomachs! Pepper's the dog that'll be the first to make you feel better if you have a bad day. A rescue dog, we don't know her birthday.
Jasper
Jasper is a 1-yr.-old pug, who I don't even know where to begin in describing. His birthday's February 7.
He's the weirdest of the three, with the most personality I've ever seen in a dog. He's my boy. <3 The picture below is him trying to fit into a cat-sized pet bed...
