Hello,
My rabbit is 8 years old, himalayan and is very well. Around a week ago, I discovered that one of her ears was quite swollen. I checked for any wounds and bites but could not find any. The size of the lump has not changed, and my rabbit is not showing any discomfort at all. She is eating and sleeping fine, and continues to play with my other rabbit. There doesn't seem to be any abnormal fluids down the ear, but the lump feels a bit hard to the touch and heavy.
Here is a picture:
I am going to see a vet tomorrow. Thoughts?
By the way, the red on the ear is just a solution used to treat swollen skin. I thought I would give it a try.
