Sweetie update

Well I have to say that Sweetie is doing good. I have been cleaning her ears with the mineral oil and euclens otic cleanser and she is feeling better. She was grinding her teeth like she was in pain, but I massaged her ears, she would stop. She grinded her teeth the next day, I massaged her tummy and she relaxed, so right then I knew that she must of had some gas pain. Gave her some gas meds, simethicone, and she felt better.

She is not grinding her teeth as if in pain. I am so proud of her, she is getting through the ear mites so well.

She is still grieving the loss of Prince but doing okay in that aspect. I am still grieving as well but doing okay also.

I am not able to use the coupon that my friend was going to give me for Sweetie. Please read my other thread entitled Sweetie may have ear mites to understand this part. It would be the last few posts of mine.

You might be able to pick up a single dose of revolution off somebody on craigslist or something, just make sure its the appropriate sized tube and is still in date and does not look toyed with. I see it for sale up here fairly often on craigslist, but I know normal flea meds are more common down there being in normal stores as all so revolution might be harder to get that way.
Or even some clinics will sell a single tube with out seeing the pet (unlikely but may be worth phoning around to find out)

Good news: I am getting revolution from another forum member. YAY! I will keep it on hand as I don't want to overdose Sweetie with flea medicine. She already got a dose of Advantage for this month, I don't want to give her a dose of revolution because I feel that would be too much for her. Next time she gets ear mites then I will dose her with revolution.
